Legal Services
Civil Litigation
Although we never hesitate to attend court, given the stress and costs typically associated with litigation, we believe it is best to resolve matters outside of court, where possible. As such, if alternative dispute mechanisms such as mediation or arbitration are appropriate, we will engage those processes to leverage the best possible outcome.
If, on the other hand, court intervention is necessary, we provide our clients with skilled, experienced and strategic legal representation throughout all stages of the lawsuit. We are highly motivated, results-oriented litigators, and we always endeavor to maximize the value of our services.
Construction Litigation
Given that construction cases typically involve multiple parties, extensive records and documentary productions, and complex technical issues which require expert evaluation, it is prudent that they are managed strategically and efficiently. We have the skill, experience and knowledge required to successfully resolve your construction dispute in a cost-effective and expedient manner.
Real Estate Litigation
We are skilled and experienced litigators who know how to identify the salient issues, determine the most advantageous litigation strategy, preserve the evidence retain the right experts, and effectively advocate on your behalf in court. Our knowledge of the legal issues which typically arise has allowed us to successfully resolve numerous real estate disputes in favor of our clients.
Employment Litigation
If you have been laid off or terminated, denied employment benefits or denied reasonable accommodations for an illness or a disability, or if you have otherwise been treated unfairly by your employer in any manner, we can review your situation and ensure that your legal rights are upheld.
We have favorably settled numerous lawsuits for clients who were wrongfully terminated by their employers and who were not properly compensated. Regardless of the size of the corporation or the law firm it hires, we will relentlessly advocate on your behalf until a fair settlement is reached, or alternatively, until a judgment is entered at trial.
We assist in cases involving termination of employment, wrongful dismissal, payment in lieu of notice, workplace harassment, discrimination, human rights, and workers compensation and disability claims. Outside of litigation services, we also assist in preparing and reviewing employment contracts as well as confidentiality, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements.
Commercial Litigation
Insurance Litigation
We have successfully dealt with insurance coverage issues for our clients both inside and outside of the courthouse, and we are familiar with various types of insurance policies, including life insurance policies, property insurance policies, motor vehicle policies, commercial general liability policies and professional liability policies.
